Today was rather frutiful, or at the very least I didnt spend my time aimlessly. I had drawn up the schedule for today the day before and it consisted four parts: registration of IC, shopping at Takashimaya, post-op hospital checkup and dental appointment. To start off, my mum and I went to the Codak shop at the nearby marketplace to get my passport size shot taken. My mum suggested this cause she was afraid of the queue at the ICAs phototaking studio. We got scammed. When we got to the ICA, the lady staff rejected my photo cause she said it was too dark. Then my mum was cursing, not swearing, at the workers at Codak cause she had alreadi clarified with them if the photo would be accepted. Whats more, the cost at Codak was 7 bucks while that at the ICA was onli 5.35. The queue was not long either. Thats why we got scammed. Anyway, the entire process took roughly an hour, better than what I had expected, and we went had lunch at the ICA cafeteria.
The day before, I figured that I would be out for the most part of the day so I decided to go shopping at Takashimaya to catch some of the sweet deals during the GSS. This was one of the rare occasions that I would specially go shopping rather than shop conveniently after dinner. Vincent had told me two days before of some good bargains at Takashimaya and thats why I went there. If not, I wouldnt know where to start. Well, the things he mentioned werent what I expected but I picked up some other things there, as well as some clothes elsewhere. Since I dont shop often, the experience was really quite daunting. A cap could go for 74 bucks! Lol, thats just insane. I ended my spree at 3.30 and head for the hospital.
Nothing much happened here. Everything was fine according to the doctor but I had to come back for a final checkup 3 months later. Lol, so irritating. Saw Bong down there. No idea what the hell he was doing there. Dental was as usual, except that I had to wear even more rubberbands than before. Its like triple vampire. Lol, lame again. The dentist said that it was the final stage so I had to put more effort. Besides, its the June holidays so I have more time.
Hmm remember some time ago I said I wanted to brush up on my IT skills, especially dreamweaver and photoshop? I still want to, expect I cant find the determination to. I need some tutor or mentor. Any professional here willing to lend a helping hand? Just dont price your rates too high. Lol. HeLp!
