Today I had my physics DMP module on rocket physics. I almost forgot about it until my mum reminded me yesterday. Lol, so the first day of the holidays was spent in school yet again learning about rocket physics and aerodynamics. On the whole, it was quite fun since most of the activities were more of hands on rather than theoretical. We had to spilt ourselves into groups of threes and my other two members were people whom I have never spoken to before. Well, I see them around the school campus but just didnt talk to them. I got pang seh-ed by sup cause he had to go for scout camp. Sad. Anyway, the first half of the module was spent constructing a rocket. We just did the launching of the rockets for almost the whole first half, followed by a little bit of simple theory knowledge. In case you didnt know, it uses water propulsion (water + pressure) to launch, so a couple of people, including me, got pretty wet. Lol.

I had lunch with Leonard at cafe cartel. Honestly, I was quite surprised he suggested there. Most often, people would just eat at Macs or KFC or Long John or whatever. Cafe cartel is like so posh. Furthermore, my coach works there. Lol, we had the set lunches cause it wasnt time for student value meal. I had to rush my food though cause we were running late.

After lunch, we modified our rocket. Lol, this one has a plastic "parachute" stuck inside it in case you didnt notice. The top parts supposed to "detach" and the "parachute"s supposed to open up. We spent the entire second half just doing that. Slack right? The funny part was out of the four tries our group made, three of them saw our rockets diving kamikaze style towards the ground without detaching. During the final "flight", our top detached but our parachute onli opened up 2m before it hit the ground. Lol, like a in-the-nick-of-time save.

Thats about it for physics DMP. Another short reflection of mine. After reading chiaps post, I got pretty inspired. But Im not aiming to be ACCAL. Its just the grit and everything. For me, I will try to rebuild past lost relationships while trying to build new ones. Irrelevant right? I somehow saw a link to it lol..

Hmm was watching the arena just now. It was an interesting debate but RI won as always. I felt so suanned and useless. Why? Cause a debator from RI bearing the same name as me was named best speaker of that round as well as overall best speaker. Not only that, he was like so cool and calm on National TV, or to quote one of the judges - "your measured style is a killer". I see him around in school and he seems quite nice too, although they will always be people who feel otherwise. Lol, I am like shyt compared to him. BOOHOO.

Thats about it. Chiap said that RI won HCI by 1 POINT in the semis. Lol, I didnt catch that. It must have been intense. Obviously. Im thinking about changing skin since the font is really small and the colour is somewhat illegible. Well, theres time.
